Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

Alert Preferences: When you create a dining alert, we store your chosen restaurant, party size, date range, time-of-day preferences, and the email address you want notifications sent to.

Usage Data: We log when alerts are checked, how many notifications have been sent, and the last time a match was found. This helps us monitor system health and provide you with accurate status information.

We do not collect payment information, location data, or any Disney account credentials from you.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To monitor Disney dining availability based on your alert preferences
• To send you email notifications when a matching reservation becomes available
• To send account-related communications such as password resets or welcome emails
• To maintain and improve the reliability of the service

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email Communications

We will send you emails in the following circumstances:

• Alert Notifications: When a Disney dining reservation matching your preferences becomes available. These are sent with a minimum cooldown period to avoid inbox flooding.
• Account Emails: Welcome messages, password reset links, and other service-related communications.

You can stop receiving alert notifications at any time by deleting your active alerts from the dashboard. To close your account entirely, contact us at the address below.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage and are never recoverable in plain text even by us.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Alert records are retained while active and may be kept for a short period after deletion for audit purposes before being permanently removed.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Enchanted Alerts is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or otherwise connected to The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney World Resort, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.

We query publicly available dining availability information on behalf of our users to provide notification services. Disney® is a registered trademark of The Walt Disney Company.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us directly. We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
